The Village Lift Project
PopFizzSoul is proud to announce Village Lift, our initiative to uplift and empower women all over the world. We've collaborated with a local non profit to launch this program. The collaboration came into fruition after meeting like minded women who have come to PopFizzSoul for readings. The empowering feeling that comes after discovering our own divinity has driven us to want to pay it forward and create livelihood for others. Village Lift is a non profit and all profits are reinvested into women’s livelihood projects.
Our Purpose
Create Livelihood
Village Lift products tell a unique story and every sale helps someone in need. Our first line of products are hand-block print bags, apparel and home items. The traditional process of block printing on textiles with rich colors has been practiced in Rajasthan, India for around 500 years. It is done by using carved wood blocks and natural colors made from vegetable dye. The block is put in a color pot and then applied onto the fabric. The art of block printing has been passed down for generations within families and communities. Being a handmade process, it brings a unique design every time.
At Village Lift we believe in creating livelihoods for women in rural areas across the globe. By partnering with us these women are paid fair wages that enable them to support themselves and their families.
Support Local Organizations
Here in the US we partner with non-profits and other local fund-raisers. We provide these beautiful handmade products and host events to raise money for their causes. We are always looking for new organizations and people in need to help raise money for. Events we participate in range from large gala fundraisers to women's luncheons to in home trunk shows.
Support Community
We also support women owned businesses in small US towns that are struggling to stay afloat amidst the rise of big box stores and online giants. Follow us on Instagram @villagelift to keep up on our new products and new stores.
